Blogging communities are made up of bloggers that share the same interest such as Nuffnang.com. Blogging communities are divided into three categories. The first community is made up of single blogging platform with a single blog and more than an author. The second community is a definite site which has a network with all the bloggers' blogs and tools whereas the third community is made up of bloggers as well as readers together with social networking and messaging tools.
White (2006) mentioned that people can start blogging as a medium for community development in terms of technology, social architecture, the role of subject matter and issues like life cycle and scalability. Therefore, in order to build blogging communities, a blogger must have connections with other bloggers' site, leave comments, reply comments on their own blogs, make their blogs entertaining, update it frequently and market blogs to increase readership as stated by Nikkis (2009).
Simple concepts can often be the best ones in online communities. One of the online communities I know is Rate My Space. This concept was originally an easy one. Users can upload an image and brief description about their blogging issues. People can vote or comment on those images. Therefore, we can see the speed at which images have views, votes and comments by just looking at the site.
